Forms — Poomsae

Traditional and sport poomsae for individuals, plus pairs, teams and family forms. All Taekwondo forms are allowed.

Draft — carried over from the 2025 packet, pending confirmation for 2026 All divisions are subject to change. Two sections below carry extra warnings: the sport poomsae designated forms are confirmed to be changing this year, and pairs and color belt team divisions are not yet confirmed to run at all.
You may enter Traditional Poomsae or Sport Poomsae — not both Competitors eligible for both must choose one. The registration form enforces this.

Traditional Poomsae

Open to all ages and ranks. Competitors perform only the poomsae designated for their specific rank. Judged as a bracket competition, like sparring — head to head, not a ranked score.

Scoring

Proper order, beauty, grace, rhythm, accuracy, power, technique and attitude.

All Taekwondo forms will be allowed

Taeguk, Palgwae, Chang Hon, Pyung Ahn and others are all acceptable — perform the one designated for your rank.

Sport Poomsae Black belts only

Available in black belt divisions, ages 10 and older. Competitors in these age categories choose either Sport Poomsae or Traditional Poomsae — not both.

These designated forms will change for 2026 The tables below are the 2025 designated poomsae, shown so competitors can see the format. Do not train against them for this year — the organizer has confirmed a new set is coming.

Find your forms

Pick your division and see only the poomsae you perform.

Show the full designated forms table
The 2025 packet disagrees with itself about sport poomsae ages The designated forms tables above run through Over 65 (66+), using bands of 18–30, 31–40, 41–50, 51–60, 61–65, 66+. But the packet's own entry form lists a different, shorter set — 18–30, 31–39, 40–49, 50–59, stopping at 59 with no division above it. The bands above are shown because they match the forms tables and the age names you'd expect. The organizer needs to settle which is right, and whether competitors over 59 have a division.

Pair Forms New for 2026

One male and one female performing together.

Not yet confirmed to run Pair Forms appear nowhere in the 2025 packet — not on the entry form, not in the division tables. The only mention is the welcome letter's prose. This is a new event and both the color belt and black belt versions are pending the organizer's confirmation.

Color belt teams ran in 2025 The 2025 packet lists team divisions for White / Yellow / Orange, Green, Blue / Purple and Brown / Red as well as Black. They're marked pending here only because 2026 hasn't been confirmed, not because they're new.

Family Forms

One division, open to everyone. Scored by score card.

Two or more from the same immediate family

Parents and siblings can team up, minimum two competitors per family. Immediate family only.

Any form may be chosen

There is no designated poomsae for family forms — pick something the whole family can perform.

No age, rank or gender divisions

Everyone competes together in a single division.
